Marine terminal for transshipment of liquefied hydrocarbon gases (LPG) in the area of the Kerch port

In 2012, the Joint-Stock Company "Asian-European Gas Terminal" began the implementation of the project for the construction of a terminal for the transshipment of liquefied gas (LPG) in the city of Kerch

Our services
  • Cargo handling (transshipment of LPG – propane/butane);
  • LPG storage;
  • Laboratory determination of the composition of LPG;
  • Transshipment of general cargo and large-capacity containers at the berths of FSUE "RDITMIIM"
  • Sea Port "Kerch".
Technology
  • Reception of LPG on electronic wagon scales;
  • LPG quality control in the laboratory;
  • Draining LPG from tank cars on the railway. overpass;
  • Storage of LPG batch in the tank farm;
  • Movement of LPG by the pumping and compressor shop;
  • Filling LPG into gas tankers and gas carriers;
  • Automated process control and LPG accounting system.
Production capacity
The design capacity of the terminal is: 720 thousand tons per year
Access roads (m) The total length of the tracks is 1933.2 m, the useful length is 1569.3 m.
Wagon storage park (units): holds 130 tank wagons.
Overpasses (number of accepted wagons): Two railway overpasses (20+20 discharge posts) for
reception of 40 tanks are designed double-sided - 10 posts for draining LPG from each side.
Manifolds (number, distance to manifolds): The terminal has 2
manifold at berths No. 4.5, the distance from the terminal to the manifolds is 973.1 m,
distance between manifolds 150 m.
Loading speed (5 thousand, 3 thousand, average speed): The loading speed of gas tankers does not depend on the capacity of the vessel, but depends on the technical capabilities of the vessel, as well as on the product that is loaded onto the tanker, so for butane the loading speed is 200-250 t/h, for propane 150-175 t/Guaranteed loading speed 150 t/h
Shunting diesel locomotives (units): 1 diesel locomotive which is at the disposal of the terminal 24/7.
Capacitive Park: Temporary storage of LPG at the base is provided in two groups of underground
tanks, the nominal volume of each tank is 200m 3, the design pressure is 1.76MPa (18kgf / cm 2),
working pressure - up to 1.6MPa. In each group - 10 tanks installed underground (in
embankment), with a total volume of 2000 m 3, which corresponds to approximately one railway
composition. The total volume of the underground tank farm is 4,000 m 3 .
Compressor/pump data (key figures): Compressor station includes 10
compressors type FAS-942 with a capacity of 212 m 3 / h: up to 8 workers (when extracting vapors) + 2
reserve. To prevent liquid from entering the compressors, to protect against water hammer on
suction of compressors, in addition to the complete liquid separators included in the unit
compressor units, inlet liquid separators are installed: working + reserve.
The liquid is discharged into the underground drainage tank of the pump-compressor compartment, from which
as it fills, it is displaced into storage tanks.
Loading commercial LPG from the storage base tanks into the gas carrier tanker is carried out by workers
pumps with a total capacity of up to 800m 3 /h with a head of up to 120m. Can be issued at the same time
operate 3 pumps (one in reserve).
Railway scales: Scales stationary electronic model 150 VD. Accuracy class of scales according to GOST R 53228-
2008…medium III, highest weight limit 150 t, lowest weight limit 1.0 t
Terminal working hours: 24/7
